High grade plastic colorant is the most ideal colorant for various plastics, which has the advantages of strong coloring power, good heat resistance, high light resistance, acid and alkali resistance and bright color. At present, it is widely used for coloring materials such as daily plastic, bobbin material, industrial grease, paint ink, color masterbatch, etc. Some varieties are suitable for coloring and spinning of chemical fiber, polyester, nylon, acetate fiber, etc.
Scope of use
Advanced plastic colorants belong to the category of oil soluble dyes, which can be dissolved in organic solvents. It can not only be used in monochrome, but also can be used after being prepared into various tones in a certain proportion according to needs. It is applicable to the dyeing of the following plastics.
(PS) Polystyrene (SB) Styrene butadiene copolymer
(HIPS) high resistance filled polystyrene (AS) acrylonitrile styrene copolymer
(PC) Polycarbonate (ABS) Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene copolymer
(UPVC) rigid polyvinyl chloride (372) styrene methacrylic acid copolymer
(PMMA) Polymethyl Methacrylate (CA) Cellulose Acetate
(SAN) styrene acrylonitrile copolymer (CP) acrylic cellulose
Dye application
When the above dyes are dissolved in the plastic melt, they are distributed in a certain molecular shape. When coloring various plastics, a certain proportion can be directly added into the plastic to be evenly mixed for pre molding or molding, and the color concentration can be adjusted as required. Dyes can obtain bright transparent colors in transparent and clean resins. If they are used together with appropriate amounts of titanium dioxide and dyes, they can obtain translucent or opaque colors. The dosage can be determined according to the needs. Generally, the dosage in transparent tone is 0.02% - 0.05%, and the normal dosage in opaque tone is about 0.1%.
