Properties and Applications:red, shallow blue light pink. Slightly soluble in hot water and ethanol, slightly soluble in acetone. In concentrated sulfuric acid to red light purple, purple red after diluted solution, and then have red brown precipitation; In concentrated nitric acid for brown light red solution; Slightly soluble in sodium hydroxide solution. Dye ethanol solution to join concentrated hydrochloric acid for brown light purple; Add sodium hydroxide color constant.
