Manufacturing Methods :2, 5 – diarylamino – 3, 6 – di – hydrogenated terephthalic acid dialkyl ester (alkyl = C1-3) in high boiling inert medium heating and oxidation. Linear Quinacridone with three types exist: alpha – type – blue red; Beta type – the purple and reported type – blue red; Through the control of alkali, water and used as oxidation medium solvent ratio, can get beta type or reported type products.

Properties and Applications:brilliant purple. Red powder, bright color. Resistance to organic solvent and heat resistance, high light fastness and weather resistance, good in all kinds of plastic not migration. Mainly used in plastics (PVC, PO), paint, resin, paint, printing ink, rubber and organic glass color, also used in synthetic fibre of protoplasm coloring. Used for car paint, automotive original primer. (another structure number is C.I. 46500)
