Manufacturing Methods :(a) in the potassium nitrate, potassium chlorate, glucose, or an organic acid salt (such as potassium formate or potassium acetate or a mixture of both) of the presence of treatment with potassium hydroxide 2-Aminoanthracene-9,10-dione, and pigmented; (b) potassium hydroxide in ethanol 2-Aminoanthracene-9,10-dione and the mixture was exposed to the air, and then the pigmented; (C) in the presence of copper chloride, two molecules of 1-Amino-2-bromoanthracene-9,10-dione self-condensation, and the pigmented; (d) to 8-Nitro-9,10-dioxo-9,10-dihydroanthracene-1-sulfonic acid is reduced to 8 – hydroxy-1 – anthraquinone sulfonic acid and then converted into a blue anthrone acid, a sulfonic acid group and then off, and pigmentation.

Properties and Applications:red light blue. Insoluble in water, ACETIC ACID, Azabenzene, Toluene, Xylene, Acetone and Etanol, slightly soluble in hot Chloroform, 2 – Chlorophenol and Quinoline. In the basic insurance powder solution for blue; In the acidic insurance powder solution for red light blue; In concentrated sulfuric acid for brown, dilution has blue precipitation. This article is a kind of red compared with strong senior organic pigment. Alternative metal – free phthalocyanine blue and Permanent Violet RL preparation car paint. The performance is excellent, belong to high organic pigment. With C.I.Vat Blue 4 the same chemical structure.
